MISSION – Police in Mission say the 23-year-old male driver of a BMW rolled over and crashed last Friday, and allegedly refused to provide a blood sample as requested by police during their investigation.

In a statement, Mission RCMP spokesperson Corporal Harrison Mohr says police were notified about a crash on Keystone Avenue near Hayward Street at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2.

Corporal Mohr says Mission RCMP officers arrived to discover that a BMW had rolled over, and the 23-year-old male driver and his 16-year female passenger both had minor injuries.

Police say the driver displayed signs of impairment, and was arrested for driving while impaired.
