Townhouse catches fire in Chilliwack early Wednesday morning

CHILLIWACK — Firefighters have tackled a burning home at a townhouse complex in Chilliwack early this morning (Sept. 30.
Witnesses reported the fully engulfed balcony fire in the 46000 block of Reece Avenue at around 6:30 a.m., with one neighbour rushing to the residence to alert the sleeping occupants.
Images from the scene show the blaze getting under control as of 8 a.m.
