CBSA tight lipped about search warrant execution in Chilliwack Wednesday

CHILLIWACK – Federal law enforcement is saying next to nothing about a search warrant that was carried out in Chilliwack Wednesday morning.
Fraser Valley Today received information from a Chilliwack resident Wednesday morning (Sept. 16) that Canada Border Services Agency officers were present at the intersection of Viola Street and Alma Avenue, located just off Vedder Road.

A resident reported that the road had been blocked with an unmarked car, and another law enforcement vehicle with flashing lights had been parked in front of a home on Viola Street. A tactical team appears to have been present likewise.
