Enbridge to offer over 1,600 free tickets to space centre in Vancouver for Fraser Valley residents
FRASER VALLEY – Over 1,600 free tickets to attend the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre in Vancouver next month are now available to Fraser Valley residents living in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Hope, Harrison Hot Springs and the District of Kent.
Enbridge, an energy transportation company which operates a natural gas pipeline throughout British Columbia, is offering free admission to the space centre on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12-13, as part of its Community Days program. Residents can register through this event link.
For residents who aren’t able to make the trip to Vancouver during the second weekend of September, the Space Centre will bring some of their space education exhibits closer to home at the Hope Brigade Days from September 11 to 13, and at the Agassiz Fall and Corn Fair on September 18 and 19. Representatives from the Space Centre will host hands-on, space-themed crafts and activities.
“At Enbridge, we’re proud to support opportunities that bring communities together and make learning accessible for everyone,” said Lorraine Little, Director of Corporate Citizenship and Strategic Partnerships, Enbridge. “Whether families visit the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre during Community Days or connect with its team at local community events, we’re pleased to help create experiences that inspire curiosity and discovery.”
