Vehicle reportedly crashes down embankment in Chilliwack Monday night
CHILLIWACK – Chilliwack RCMP, BC Emergency Health Services paramedics and Chilliwack firefighters were called to Thornton Road and Sparrow Road Monday night after getting reports about a motor vehicle incident in which a vehicle may have tumbled up to 100 feet down an embankment.
Chilliwack Fire Department Engines 1 (Cheam Avenue hall), Engine 4. (South Sumas hall), Engine 5 (Ryder Lake), and Rescue 1 responded.
Police blocked a road leading into Ryder Lake Monday night as part of the emergency response.
The Pulse Point app indicates three ambulances were notified about the incident at approximately 9:21 p.m.
