No people, animals hurt after Langley barn sets ablaze Friday
LANGLEY — The Langley Township Fire Department says no one was hurt in a large barn fire that covered the Murrayville area in smoke Friday morning (June 19).
At around 10 a.m., crews responded to reports of smoke and flames going through the roof at 232 Street and 40 Avenue, on a farm known to have chicken barns.
Despite this, Assistant Chief Operations Scott Brewer says the actual site of the fire was empty.
“There was no animals and nobody in there,” he said.
