Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries after being struck Friday in Abbotsford; driver arrested
ABBOTSFORD – A pedestrian has been transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries Friday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in Abbotsford, and police have confirmed alcohol is a factor in the collision.
According to a statement from AbbyPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Walker, police are on scene of a serious collision involving a pedestrian at Emerson Street and Simon Avenue in Abbotsford.
The driver of the vehicle involved has been arrested. Alcohol is a factor in the crash, police said.
The pedestrian has been transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
