Crews tackle two collisions at Langley Bypass, 2 taken to hospital

LANGLEY — Emergency crews have been on scene at a stretch of the Langley Bypass all morning after two separate motor vehicle incidents Saturday.

BC Emergency Health Services responded to the first incident westbound on the Fraser Highway and Langley Bypass at 8:38 a.m.

RCMP assisted with blocking the road’s left lane and right turn lane, with cleanup needed for debris at the scene.

BCEHS told Fraser Valley Today that one patient was taken to hospital.

The incident cleared up at around 10:30 a.m.

A second vehicle incident took place that same minute, roughly 3.5 kilometres from the first collision, heading westbound at 192 Street and the Langley Bypass, near 56 Avenue.

The incident has blocked the left lane and one of the left turn lanes at the time of writing, according to DriveBC.

Three BCEHS units have been dispatched to the scene, and one patient was taken to hospital as a result.

Lanes have been cleared up as of 3 p.m.
