Motorcyclist succumbs to injuries after collision involving semi-truck Tuesday: RCMP

LANGLEY — Mounties now say the motorcyclist who was involved in a collision with a semi-truck Tuesday afternoon on Highway 10 in Langley has sadly died.
According to a statement from Langley RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Zynal Sharoom, the motorcyclist who was transported to hospital with serious injuries has since succumbed to their injuries. In light of the development, investigators have now transitioned this incident into a fatal collision investigation.
Emergency crews responded to a report of collision at about 3:04 p.m. Tuesday afternoon near the 22200 block of Highway 10.
“This is a tragic outcome, and our thoughts are with the family and loved ones affected by this loss,” said Sgt. Sharoom. “Our investigators continue to work diligently to determine the circumstances that led to this collision.”
