UPDATE 8:25 A.M. WEDNESDAY: DriveBC says Highway 1 westbound between No. 3 Road and Whatcom Road is clear now following this morning’s vehicle incident that backed up the highway for several kilometres.

ABBOTSFORD — Highway 1 westbound between Chilliwack and Abbotsford is heavily clogged due to a vehicle incident between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m.

According to a post from DriveBC at 6:40 a.m., a vehicle incident westbound between No. 3 Road (exit 104) and Whatcom Road (exit 95) is slowing traffic. The left lane is blocked. Emergency vehicles are on scene.

Motorists should expect major delays.
