Transit service in Fraser Valley impacted by highway closures

CHILLIWACK — Bus riders will need to use other modes of transportation – or stay put – as current highway closures in the Lower Mainland are affecting service in the Fraser Valley region.

BC Transit says the Route 66 Fraser Valley Express from Chilliwack has been completely suspended, and scheduled departures from Abbotsford to Lougheed have been kept to a minimum.

Service on Route 3 Clearbrook/Huntingdon and Route 7 Sumas Mountain has been cut down due to flooding in the Huntingdon area and Old Yale Road at Delair.

Route 3 will be coming back from Sumas Centre only, and the 7 will be operating from Marshall Road to Montrose Exchange until further notice.
