ABBOTSFORD — The non-profit dedicated to improving healthcare services across the Fraser Valley region is celebrating its 25th birthday by staying true to its mission.

On Friday, November 14, the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) will host its Fraser Valley Grand Gala —a milestone fundraising dinner party that will support the purchase of upgraded technology for the Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

“This anniversary is not just a celebration of our history, but a pledge to our

future,” said Elizabeth Harris, executive director for the FVHCF. “Achieving our $500,000 goal means providing our hospitals with the capacity to deliver faster, more precise diagnoses that directly save lives”.

An endobronchial ultrasound is a compact diagnostic tool essential for the early and accurate detection of lung cancer and other respiratory conditions, providing minimally invasive diagnostic procedures for patients throughout the eastern Fraser Valley.

The event will be held at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Centre in Abbotsford. Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m., with dinner scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available online through the FVHCF website.
