VANCOUVER — Police in Vancouver say the BC Prosecution Service has approved additional charges against the suspect of a series of assaults in October.
On October 10, the Vancouver Police Department responded to several reports of people being stabbed by a stranger near David Lam Park at around 7:30 a.m.
Three victims were found and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Four additional assault victims later came forward.
The 35-year-old has since been charged with one count of assault, and on October 31, Tamara Hamelin was also charged with four counts of assault with a weapon and one more count of assault.
