CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack is warming up for the cooler season with a wide range of autumn activities this September.

Tourism Chilliwack’s fall calendar starts with a queer-themed event at Smoking Gun Coffee Roasters on Thursday, September 11.

That Saturday (Sep. 13), visitors can shop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fraser Valley Thrift Market, located at Heritage Park, before heading over to the Fire & Ice BC Tasting Festival at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre at 7 p.m.

The Centre then opens its doors again on Sunday (Sep. 14) for the Vancouver Cello Quartet’s midday concert performance.

On September 16, the Chilliwack Lawn Bowling Club is set to host a free Lawn Bowling event with the Health Initiative for Men, with on-site coaches and complimentary coffee and snacks.

Finally, after the fall equinox officially passes, residents can ease into a slower-paced season with a free archives tour at the Chilliwack Archives.
