Abbotsford Police make arrest in early morning stabbing
ABBOTSFORD — A teenaged man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed early Friday (De. 22) morning in Abbotsford.
In a news release, Abbotsford Police say officers were called to a parking lot in the 3100 block of Clearbrook Road at 2:35 a.m.
They arrived to find a 19-year-old male victim with severe and life-threatening injuries consistent with stab wounds. First responders administered immediate medical aid and transported to victim to hospital. Hours later, the victim’s condition was improved to stable.
One person has been arrested in connection to the incident and police say there is no imminent risk to the public at this time. The identity of the arrested individual and the circumstances surrounding the arrest were not disclosed.
