COQUIHALLA HIGHWAY — Motorists returning to the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland from the Interior over the Thanksgiving long weekend can expect delays of up to two hours on the southbound Coquihalla Highway Monday afternoon.

According to a post on X/Twitter at 3:41 p.m., Drive BC says a travel advisory is in effect between exit 290 (Merritt) and exit 183, Othello Road. The travel advisory stretches for 115.9 kilometres between Othello, which is about six kilometres north of Hope, to exit 290, which is about seven kilometres north of Merritt.

Motorists can expect delays of up to two hours. The next update will be Monday, October 9 at 6 p.m. The travel advisory was last updated at 3:31 p.m.
