CHILLIWACK — Highway 1 west of Chilliwack in both directions has been clogged Thursday morning due to a multi-vehicle accident (Aug. 31).
According to witnesses, a dump truck ended up in the median of Highway 1 west of Chilliwack sometime around 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning, and possibly two other vehicles crashed in the eastbound lanes halfway between Yale Road (exit 109) and Lickman Road (exit 116).
The left lane of eastbound Hwy. 1 was reportedly blocked after the dump truck wound up in the median.
Traffic still shows dark red on Google Maps between Lickman Road and Yale Road as of 7:38 a.m.
