Woman hospitalized after being stabbed at park in Abbotsford, west of Clearbrook
ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit is investigating after a 46-year-old woman was stabbed near a park west of Clearbrook in Abbotsford in what police believe was a targeted incident.
In a news release from Constable Art Stele, media relations spokesperson for the Abbotsford Police Department, police were dispatched on Tuesday, August 29 at 1:53 p.m. for the report of a suspicious circumstance near Nadeau Park in the 3000 block of Townline Road.
The park is located west of Clearbrook in Abbotsford, not far from the Highstreet outdoor shopping centre.
AbbyPD patrol officers at the scene located a 46-year-old female suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds.The female victim was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
