Showers, much cooler weather expected Tuesday in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — Environment Canada is forecasting a significant change in the smoky, hot summer weather.

The national weather agency says showers are expected to begin sometime Tuesday morning (Aug. 29), signaling a departure from smoky, humid skies that have characterized the past week in Chilliwack.

Periods of rain are forecast for Tuesday night.

Temperatures are forecast to drop from a high of 28 on Monday to a high of only 19 on Tuesday, followed by 20 degrees on Wednesday.
