Winter weather conditions expected to improve Sunday through the Fraser Valley

CHILLIWACK — The snowy, cold weather impacting much of the B.C. South Coast including the Fraser Valley, is expected to improve Sunday.
While Environment Canada continued to have a snowfall warning in place for the Fraser Valley Sunday morning, it says it expects the snow to transition to rain this morning as gusty winds push the weather system out of the region.
But before it is over, up to 30 cm of snow was expected at higher elevations through the region.
Temperatures are expected to rise over the freezing mark through daytime hours. However, Environment Canada is predicting overnight lows below 0 C, making for some potentially dangerous driving conditions.
