CHILLIWACK — Residents are invited to watch a film centring on the true stories of globetrotting, “fierce” conservation efforts from Argentina’s wetlands – to the Hope Slough in Chilliwack.

The Rewilders, a short documentary about conservationists rescuing and releasing orphaned animals back into their natural habitats, is coming to the Chilliwack Cultural Centre this month.

“Through intimate storytelling and breathtaking cinematography, The Rewilders highlights both the fragility of the natural world and the extraordinary efforts being made to protect it,” said the Centre.

The film also features the Pelolxw Tribe’s work in protecting local salmon by restoring the Hope Slough.
