G.W. Graham JV Grizzlies remain unbeaten with decisive win over rival Sardis
CHILLIWACK — The GW Graham Junior Varsity Grizzlies remained unbeaten on the season with a decisive 78-0 win over rival Sardis Secondary at Exhibition Stadium in Chilliwack last Thursday (Oct. 23).
The Grizzlies defence set the tone from the opening kickoff by smothering the Falcons offence, allowing only one first down the entire game. They forced three interceptions, recovered a fumble and forced a safety. Linebacker Cohen Magnusson registered a tackle and recovered a fumble, while linebacker Ike Carstensen anchored the defence with six tackles and several punishing hits. Defensive ends Max Ferguson and Brady Henderson combined for eight tackles, and another 11 Grizzlies defenders chipped in on stops throughout the afternoon.
