RCMP remove 8 high-risk drivers from area roads Oct. 10-17

CHILLIWACK — Police with the Upper Fraser Valley RCMP detachment in Chilliwack continue to keep their eyes peeled for dangerous, high-risk drivers throughout the Chilliwack area and beyond.

During the week of October 10-17, RCMP removed five impaired drivers from the road and three prohibited drivers.

While those numbers may seem low, RCMP had an active week Sept. 26 through October 3 when it removed 11 drunk or impaired drivers, seven prohibited drivers, and two motorists for excessive speeding.
