Siemens, who served as a two-term councillor in Abbotsford, takes over from Henry Braun. The 72-year-old Braun decided not to run for a second term as Mayor. Siemens will have a lot of work ahead as the mayor of B.C.’s fifth-largest municipality which is continuing to recover from historic flooding in 2021.
