Abbotsford Police searching for violent suspect, Cody Ham, wanted for assault charges, including choking and unlawful confinement

ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Police Department issued a public information bulletin Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 5) advising the public that a violent 37-year-old man is on the loose and wanted by police.

Abbotsford Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Cody Ham, 37, who is wanted on numerous violent offences.

For reasons that were not disclosed, Ham was released back into the community on electronic monitoring, but has since cut his ankle monitor off.

Abbotsford authorities urge the public to not approach Ham and to call 9-1-1 with any sightings.

Ham has warrants for a plethora of violent charges and offences, including assault, assault by choking, assault causing bodily harm, unlawful confinement, uttering threats, harassing communications, mischief, and breach.

Ham had a shaved head and a tattoo on his neck, among other distinguishing features in a photo released by police. He is described as 6’1″, 190 pounds, with short grey hair, and blue eyes.
