Chilliwack restaurant relocation pushed back a bit

CHILLIWACK — The relocation of a popular Vietnamese restaurant in Chilliwack has been pushed back a bit.

Al Trieu, owner of Pho Galaxy Restaurant, told Fraser Valley Today outside its new location of 60-45905 Yale Road Monday night that Fraser Health still needs to conduct a full health inspection of the new premises, as is custom with new facilities serving food.

Its previous location is now closed in the Victorian Court shopping centre at 45863 Yale Road.

Trieu said he hopes to reopen by the upcoming long weekend, but that’s out of his control at this point.

Trieu had been hoping to open this past Saturday, August 23, but that didn’t come to fruition due to pending health inspections.
