Fraser Health names new CEO, 6 months after it parted ways with former CEO
FRASER VALLEY — Fraser Health Authority announced Monday morning it has appointed its new president and chief executive officer, roughly six months after it parted ways with its former CEO.
According to a news release, Dermot Kelly brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across British Columbia’s health care system and what Fraser Health calls a “deep commitment to leading with purpose and compassion.”
“His vision for Fraser Health is centred on ensuring that care is not only delivered to patients and families with empathy and excellence, but also extended to colleagues, partners, and communities through stronger relationships, open dialogue, and mutual trust,” FHA said.
The chair of the FHA board of directors has welcomed the announcement with open arms.
