Agassiz-Harrison non-profit announces its new executive director
AGASSIZ – The board of the Agassiz-Harrison Community Services Society has announced its next executive director.
In a social media post, the non-profit says Cindy Xavier is a seasoned leader with over 24 years of executive leadership experience in the community services sector. In her professional roles, she has been credited with strengthening communities, promoting inclusion and enhancing outcomes for children, seniors, adults and families.
“She is widely recognized for her collaborative leadership style, commitment to community engagement, and ability to build strong partnerships that support positive and lasting change,” the Agassiz-Harrison Community Services board of director said. “Cindy has led complex community-based organizations through periods of growth, innovation, and transformation, with a strong focus on collaboration and community engagement. Her leadership approach is grounded in relationship-building, transparency, and ensuring diverse voices help shape decision-making and service delivery.”
The board says Xavier has successfully led complex community-based organizations through periods of growth, innovation, and transformation. Her experience features a depth of knowledge around strategic planning, labour relations, fundraising, government relations, board governance, accreditation, policy development, and organizational change.
