Chilliwack company to offer free guided tours during upcoming Mural Festival
CHILLIWACK — Amid news earlier this year that the Vancouver Mural Festival is shutting down, the Chilliwack Mural Festival has teamed up with a local tour guide company based in Chilliwack to fill the void.
During the upcoming Chilliwack Mural Festival slated for August 7-17, Chilliwack Tours will offer 14 guided walking tours of the more than 50 murals in downtown Chilliwack free of charge.
Headed up by community connector Michael Berger, Chilliwack Tours features guided walking tours throughout Chilliwack. Their tours help bring to life the city’s murals, public art, and historical landmarks and stories, providing an engaging and educational experience for locals and visitors alike.
From August 7 to 17, festival-goers can participate in 14 unique, tip-supported tours that explore the stories, art, and history woven into the murals in the heart of downtown Chilliwack. These curated walking tours highlight the community’s vibrant mural scene. Whether you’re drawn to street art or are looking for a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Chilliwack’s Mural Festival, these engaging experiences offer something for everyone.
