Traffic stop leads to arrest of woman linked to stolen property: Abbotsford PD

ABBOTSFORD — Police in Abbotsford say a traffic stop earlier this month has led to the arrest of a woman linked to a number of property crimes.

According to a statement, AbbyPD traffic enforcement officers were in the Clearbrook corridor on Tuesday, July 8 when they located a vehicle registered to a female with a 24/7 curfew, stemming from a conditional sentence order. A traffic stop was conducted, and the female driver was arrested without incident. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and recovered recently stolen property from several neighbouring communities.

“The AbbyPD remains committed to holding repeat offenders accountable through proactive enforcement in our community,” AbbyPD said.
