MISSION — Police are warning businesses about some well-dressed ladies believed to have been coordinating a series of recent thefts in Mission.

On Monday evening (June 30), three women went into the Shoppers Drug Mart on Lougheed Highway in Mission and reportedly stole an entire shelf’s worth of beauty products.

The next day at around 2:15 p.m., four women entered the local London Drugs and allegedly worked together to steal a large number of perfumes. Three of the four were the same ones from the previous theft.

Finally, on the morning of July 5, two women returned to the Shoppers and allegedly stole several high-end gift sets.

“At one of the stores, one of the suspects was also pushing a baby stroller, with a small child inside,” wrote Mission RCMP. “The women were well-organized, and in at least one of the instances, one of the suspects distracted an employee working in the cosmetics section, while the others reportedly took various items.”

The women are believed to have ties to Ontario and were not previously known to Mission police.

Retailers throughout the Lower Mainland are asked to familiarize themselves with the group. Anyone with information about the suspects’ identities or the car they drive can call Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161 and quote file 2025-7724.
