Nanaimo native picked as UFV’s next golf coach
ABBOTSFORD — A Nanaimo native who earned multiple awards for his exemplary play at the collegiate level has been named the next coach of the school’s golf program.
UFV’s Athletics and Campus Recreation department announced Thursday (July 3) that Eli Greene will take the helm to lead the Cascades.
Greene earned three medals at the Canada West level, and two more at nationals during his collegiate career. He succeeds outgoing coach Connor O’Dell.
Greene says the announcement marks an exciting step for him to take on the coaching duties to move the program forwaard.
