New UFV president takes the helm this week
CHILLIWACK — The University of the Fraser Valley is set to welcome its new president this week.
Dr. James Mandigo will take the reins from recently retired Dr. Joanne MacLean, becoming the university’s seventh president.
UFV says Dr. Mandigo will bring a passion for change making to his new leadership role, by virtue of several innovative initiatives he has championed over the past six years.
“His leadership has encouraged UFV faculty, staff and students to make a difference in the eastern Fraser Valley of BC, across Canada, and beyond,” UFV said.
