Multiple patients hospitalized after serious crash at Vedder/Thomas in Chilliwack Sunday
UPDATE 10 A.M. MONDAY: A B.C. EHS spokesperson has confirmed that five ambulances and an air ambulance were dispatched for the serious motor vehicle collision near Vedder Road and Thomas Road Sunday afternoon in Chilliwack, which sent four people to hospital, including two in critical condition.
“Three ambulances with primary care paramedics, an ambulance with advanced care paramedics, an advanced care paramedic response unit and an air ambulance responded to the scene,” Paramedic Public Information Officer Brian Twaites said. “Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to four patients. One patient was transported by air ambulance to hospital in critical condition. A second patient was transported by ground ambulance to hospital in critical condition, and two other patients were transported to hospital in stable condition.”
