CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack RCMP announced Friday afternoon (Sept. 23) that 24-year-old Kenneth Charlie, a Chilliwack male who was wanted for possession of a firearm without a license, assault with a weapon, obstruction and breach of a release order on September 14, has been arrested.

RCMP Sgt. Krista Vrolyk, media spokesperson, expressed thanks to the media and public for their assistance in bringing Charlie to justice.

Chilliwack RCMP are on the lookout for a 24-year-old man suspected of multiple charges, including assault with a weapon and possession of a firearm without proper legal authorization.

According to a news release originally issued back on September 14, Chilliwack RCMP had asked for the public’s assistance in locating Charlie, who was described as an Indigenous male, 6’1″, 170 pounds (77 kilograms), with brown hair and brown eyes.
