UPDATE: Driver of car that struck property eludes AbbyPD officers as manhunt ends

UPDATE 2:45 P.M. WEDNESDAY: Abbotsford PD says the police search has ended, but the driver remains outstanding. The investigation is in its early stages and is continuing.

ABBOTSFORD/MATSQUI FIRST NATION — Abbotsford Police Department officers have converged in Matsqui First Nation Wednesday around noon after a vehicle collision to a property.

According to a social media post, Abbotsford police say the driver of a suspect vehicle fled on foot, resulting in an active police dog track to the west of the scene.
