Police execute search warrant in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack RCMP, with support from the Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant Friday (Dec. 20) morning in the area of Evans Road and Wells Road.

The operation began at approximately 11 a.m., prompting traffic detours and temporary evacuations of nearby residences. A nearby school was briefly placed on hold and secure as a precautionary measure.

RCMP have confirmed the area remains secure, and there is no ongoing risk to the public. Officers will maintain a presence in the vicinity as the investigation continues.
