CHILLIWACK — It was nice while it lasted, but seasonal bus service to Cultus Lake and Sunday service to Agassiz-Harrison aboard B.C. Transit will end in a little over a week.

B.C. Transit, the Fraser Valley Regional District, and the City of Chilliwack said earlier this week that summertime bus service on route 56 to Cultus Lake will end on Tuesday, September 6.

To help address concerns about trip flow and destination signage at Cottonwood Mall and Chilliwack Mall, all applicable routes will service Cottonwood Mall first, followed by the under-construction Chilliwack Mall second.

As part of the fall service change, Sunday service on route 71 servicing Agassiz-Harrison will also be seasonally discontinued on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
