1 deceased after report of shots fired in Langley: RCMP

LANGLEY – Mounties in Langley say 1 person has died after police responded to a report of shots fired on Brydon Crescent late Tuesday night in Langley.

Langley RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Zynal Sharoom says police were called to the 5400 block of Brydon Crescent at about 11:34 p.m. for a report of shots fired.

Langley RCMP, Langley City Fire Rescue Service crews and B.C. Ambulance Service paramedics attended the area and found one individual in medical distress.

“Despite life saving efforts, the individual succumbed to their injuries at the scene,” said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. “The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called in.”
