Police seek suspect who allegedly forcibly removed an engagement ring from an elderly female

ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford PD says it is looking to identify a female suspect who allegedly robbed an elderly female of her engagement ring Monday afternoon on South Fraser Way.

According to a social media post, AbbyPD patrol officers are currently investigating a robbery that occurred in the 32900 block of South Fraser Way at approximately 1 p.m. Monday (Nov. 18). Police say an 85-year-old elderly female had her engagement ring forcibly ripped off her hand while in the parking lot of an Abbotsford business complex.

Police say they are looking to identify the female suspect pictured with this story, as well as the getaway vehicle also pictured.
