CHILLIWACK — A Chilliwack non-profit whose platform facilitates a variety of support services for older adults in Chilliwack is looking for an executive director.

According to a job announcement posted Thursday, November 7, Compassionate Neighbourhood Health Partners Society (CNHPS) in Chilliwack is recruiting for an executive director to lead the largely volunteer-driven organization. At its core, CNHPS strives to offer services and programs that promote the social and emotional well-being of older adults and their caregivers in Chilliwack.

The position is currently budgeted for 21 hours a week with flexibility built into the role. The next executive director of CNHPS can expect to guide the organization by overseeing all operations, finances, programs, social media, technical aspects, staff and volunteering. The executive director functions as the lead for strategic planning, fundraising and stakeholder relationships to help achieve the entity’s mission and goals.

The next executive director can be expected to assume the role starting January 1, 2025, and operate on a one-year contracted position that are renewable annually.

CNHPS is also looking for a part-time volunteer coordinator that will recruit and process new volunteer applications.
