CHILLIWACK — DriveBC says an eastbound vehicle incident is blocking the left lane before Annis Road Monday afternoon.

According to a post from DriveBC at 1:22 p.m., the vehicle incident is causing delays for eastbound traffic. Emergency crews are already on scene.

A picture from Dani Ledger shows a semi rolled over on its side in the shoulder of eastbound Highway 1.

As of 1:30 p.m., Google Maps traffic shows dark red in both directions of Highway 1 between Gibson Road and just west of Annis Road (exit 129).

Video shared by Alice Devisser shows the semi truck in question driving eastbound on Highway 1 in the slower lane Monday afternoon. Battered by blustery winds, the rear of the semi truck begins to wobble and shake before it topples to its left and crashes on its side, careening into the highway median. Thankfully, there was no vehicle immediately next to the vehicle when it rolled over, nor did it strike any westbound vehicles.
