Police in Delta, B.C., say two killed, two hurt in crash involving medical emergency

DELTA — Police in Delta, B.C., say four pedestrians have been struck and hurt by a vehicle in what appears to have been a medical incident.

Two of the pedestrians have died from their injuries on scene.

They say it happened on Tsawwassen First Nation land, prompting the Nation to end its event marking the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Video posted online from the scene at the Tsawwassen Mills shopping centre shows a truck against the mall’s exterior and police tape surrounding the area, along with ambulances and a helicopter in the parking lot.
