UPDATE AT 9:35 A.M. THURSDAY: DriveBC reported at 9:24 a.m. that Highway 1 is now clear through Abbotsford/Sumas Way, exit 92.

ABBOTSFORD — The Thursday morning commute on westbound Highway 1 through Abbotsford is a mess.

DriveBC posted at 8:33 a.m. that a vehicle incident has blocked the left lane of Highway 1 west of Sumas Way (exit 92).

A real-time camera image from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure shows traffic backed up for several kilometres west of the Sumas Way exit, possibly as far back as No. 3 Road at exit 104.
