ABBOTSFORD — Organizers of the recent Golfing ‘FORE’ Your Hospitals event in Harrison Mills say last week’s event was one of their biggest, taking in over a $100,000 for Eastern Fraser Valley Regional Hospitals.
Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) spokesperson Leslie Gmur says just over 200 golfers took to the field at the sold out ninth annual event.
The funds are earmarked for hospitals in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, and Hope in which essential equipment will be purchased with the money.
FVHCF executive director Liz Harris thanked sponsors and participants in a press release Friday.
