SURREY – A woman was rushed to hospital early Sunday morning after being stabbed in Surrey.
RCMP say the 40-year-old was initially thought to have been injured in a collision with a vehicle just after a resident called police around 2 a.m. near 108 Avenue and King George Boulevard.
However, it was later discovered the woman had been bloodied by a stab wound, according to a police spokesperson.
The victim, who has yet to be identified, was breathing but not conscious when transported to Royal Columbian Hospital.
