CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack residents are invited to take part in a transformative evening that connects art, culture and conversation on National Indigenous Peoples Day over food and drinks in Chilliwack.

The event happens Friday, June 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Cowork Chilliwack (12-8465 Harvard Place) and features renowned artist Carrielynn Victor and the charismatic host of Bigger Than Me podcast, Aaron Pete, who graduated from UBC law school and serves as a councillor with Chawathil First Nation west of Hope.

Attendees will be among the first to experience a curated display of Carrielynn Victor’s latest artwork. Each piece, a stirring mix of traditional motifs and contemporary themes, illustrates a lively story of resilience, beauty, and the strength of First Nations people. Art lovers will have the unique opportunity to purchase original pieces directly from the artist.
