Non-profit distributing low-cost clothing at Chilliwack event later this month
CHILLIWACK — Non-profit founder Ernie Jantzen of Clothes2U has made it his mission to get as many clothes and other supplies into the hands of as many deserving people and families as possible.
Jantzen, a Fraser Valley resident, aims to equip struggling families with clothing and other essential items for their kids, or themselves for that matter.
That’s why he’s putting on another low-cost clothes distribution event on Saturday, April 20 at the Chilliwack Alliance Church, 8700 Young Road, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The items include clothes for babies to adults, toys, diapers, incontinence items, personal and smaller household items. While Jantzen refers to the event as free, there is a $4 admission fee per person. Kids 10 and under are free.
