PRINCETON — RCMP in Princeton are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects believed to be involved in a break-and-enter and stolen vehicle investigation in the region.

On July 2, officers responded to a B&E at a cabin on Coalmont Road in Tulameen, which had reportedly been entered on “multiple occasions” when the property owner was away.

The suspects stole tools, fuel and other items from the property.

CCTV footage from the previous day showed two unidentified suspects on the property.

A dark-coloured Mazda 3 sedan involved in the investigation has also been linked to several recent property crimes in the Princeton area, including the theft of a dark grey 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck with B.C. licence plate XK7991 from a secured business yard on Highway 5A.

Security footage showed the truck being driven from the property in the early morning, followed by what police believe is the same dark Mazda.

The stolen truck is described as having lifted suspension and large, oversized tires.

Anyone who has seen the individuals or knows their whereabouts is asked to contact Princeton RCMP at 250-295-6911 and quote files 2026-1122 and 2026-1129.

“We are aware of the significant public interest surrounding these incidents and ask residents not to approach or confront anyone they believe may be involved,” said Cpl. Brett Urano, RCMP spokesperson. “If you recognize these individuals or observe the stolen vehicle, please contact police and allow investigators to follow up safely.”
