Sardis Bottle Depot notifies customers about ‘data issue’ that could impact Express accounts
CHILLIWACK — The Sardis Bottle Depot has notified customers about a data issue involving Express bags that were dropped off at its self-serve automated system during the past week and a half.
According to an email sent to customers this week, Return-It Express, doing business as Encorp Pacific (Canada), says there has been an issue accessing data from the automated counting machine at its Sardis Bottle Depot location, 7592 Vedder Road.
“We wanted to inform you of a data issue that was discovered with some recent Express bags dropped off at Sardis Bottle Depot between March 17 – 27,” the email stated. “If you dropped off a bag during this time, most likely your bag(s) have already been counted by the depot. However, there has been an issue accessing the data from the automated counting machine.”
The data issue may have contributed to a delay of customers’ Express accounts being credited. The company says it is working to resolve the issue.
